Charlotte – Apprentice Site Manager

Charlotte was made redundant due to the pandemic and contacted WiC for assistance to find employment. She has an IOSH certificate and a CSCS card, and took part in our mentoring scheme during the first lockdown in March 2020. Charlotte completed a 2-week placement with Hill’s site management team in October 2020, assisting with the daily and weekly procedures, including the quality inspections. Charlotte enjoyed working with the production and site teams. After completing the placement, Charlotte was delighted to be offered an Apprenticeship Site Manager role through Clarion Futures, a great beginning for a career in the industry.

“I went into the placement with no expectations or experience and found it informative and challenging and so much fun. It was a fast paced 2-weeks. I was constantly on the go and learnt so much. No day was ever the same. I was working with a great team who made my experience really enjoyable.” – Charlotte.

Charlotte aims to complete her NVQ, and become a fully qualified site manager.
