Women into Construction is delighted to be partnering with EKFB and CarmichaelUK in the West Midlands to develop, grow and sustain a programme to provide the workforce the construction industry desperately needs to bridge the skills shortage we are currently facing

We are offering fully funded, construction-related training, including CSCS cards, allowing you to work onsite, which will lead to well-paid opportunities for women looking to break into the industry.

Four women workers on construction site

Women into Construction is partnering with West London College and the Mayor’s Construction Academy West London to offer support to women looking to work in construction.

Unemployed women from West London interested in exploring a variety of roles in construction can now register their interest in taking part in a four-week employability and work placement programme in January 2021.
Participants will gain a qualification in employability, a CSCS card and Level 1 H&S qualification followed by a 2-week placement/ mentorship. Job application support will be provided following completion of the programme which will be delivered by West London College and WiC. Those interested are invited to join us for an information session;
