    Personalised advice and guidance on training and opportunities available in construction and related industries, and how we can help you to access them.

  • Training

    Access to free construction-related training courses.
    These include:

    • Level 1 Health and Safety in Construction (or equivalent) training and test
    • Revision materials and CITB HS&E test (CSCS card)
    • Interview skills and CV support

    Other construction related training may be available in London, Essex, Birmingham and Cambridge. If you are based in any of these areas and would like to know more, please contact us today.

  • Work Placements

    Within our work placement schemes we are able to provide:

    • Supported industry work placements 2-6 weeks full-time
      or 4-13 weeks part-time.
    • Expenses paid – fares, childcare, PPE.
    • Work placements are a useful way to gain industry experience
      in your chosen area of work. They are also a great way of demonstrating your skills to an employer.
      More than 50% of women that complete placements,
      progress into paid employment.
  • Mentoring

    Ongoing mentoring and support through training,
    work-placements, into employment and beyond.

  • Jobs

    Brokerage into jobs in the construction industry
    and continued support once in employment.

  • Resources

    We have an ever-expanding set of resources available here, including information about WiC, recordings of live events that cover all aspects of the industry and tools to help you prepare for work.
